15. Creating book content
Provided Project Manager with my content for the book. I’ve previously only really designed for the web, so I had to find out about print colours, resolution etc in order to provide usable content.
Creative Director content:
Concept write-up (word .doc)
Concept Implementation write-up (word .doc)
Paper prototype
High-resolution copy of Layout 1 (PhotoShop. tiff)
High-resolution copy of Layout 2 (PhotoShop. tiff)
Look and Feel of Layout 1 write-up
Look and Feel of Layout 2 write-up
Site structure diagram high-resolution images (.tiff)
Flash animation storyboard high-resolution image (.tiff)
Creative section of conclusion write-up

16. Presentation Website
Created presentation website template in Dreamweaver and then input content provided by other team members for each section.
I also created a ‘Flash’ version of the main layout to enhance Design and Concept part of presentation. I backed up and uploaded presentation site.

17. Presentation
Wrote ‘script’ for ‘Concept and Design’ section of presentation. This was challenging, as I wanted to show Concept, Navigation and Site Structure and also show that we’re answering the clients’ brief, as well as pointing out the benefits of the design, all in a 10 minute pitch! Also, we were taught that the Design section of the pitch would be the opportunity to ‘wow’ the client, so no pressure there…
We rehearsed the presentation as a group and individually/with friends. We gave each other feedback on how to improve each of our sections, which was a very helpful exercise as it (hopefully) has enabled us to cover all aspects appropriately to make a convincing pitch.
